Summary

Join Velocity Global's growing Sales Growth Development team as a Senior Sales Executive! This full-time, remote individual contributor role focuses on exceeding annual revenue and booking quotas within the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment. You will prospect, leverage marketing, and utilize a partner ecosystem to acquire new business. Success requires navigating multiple partner requirements, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and creatively solving companies' international growth challenges. Reporting to the Manager of SMB Sales, you will play a key role in shaping our success. This position offers a chance to make a real impact by contributing to Velocity Global's continued growth and leadership in the global workforce management industry.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in prospect-facing software sales roles focused on SMB to Mid-Market
  • 4+ years of experience generating self-sourced outbound leads
  • Track record achieving/exceeding quota targets
  • Experience contributing to the ongoing development of sales processes - listen and hear constructive criticism and take immediate action
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • Persistent, disciplined and motivated attitude
  • Strong consultative customer service and project management style
  • Xperience with creating unparalleled customer experiences
  • Talent for assimilating information quickly
  • Anticipated estimated travel of 20%

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans to manage a territory's activity and development
  • Identify new accounts and introduce the Velocity Global value proposition to important decision-makers
  • Strong ability to create sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral
  • Effectively transfer thoughts and expresses ideas using speech, and absorb information to encourage others and gain support
  • Adjust to new, different, or changing requirements
  • Listen with objectivity and checks for understanding
  • Persist despite obstacles and opposition or setbacks
  • Experience successfully negotiating complex contracts
  • Proven track record achieving/exceeding quota targets
  • Properly forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory
  • Use quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to manage sales growth
  • Hold self-accountable for results
  • Encourages swift action and lead issues to closure
  • Influence other teams to drive holistic revenue growth
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about Velocity Global's products and services, marketplace served, competitive landscape, and other business issues relevant to the position
  • Provide constant feedback to Sales management on the territory environment
  • Share input with other departments in preparing sales materials and technical publications

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
