Senior Accountant

You will collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and adherence to best practices. Your expertise will directly influence the company's financial health and growth. Lead the implementation and compliance with complex accounting standards, own contract processes, evaluate goodwill, support all accounting areas, develop and maintain policies, assist with financial statement preparation, and handle special projects. This role requires a CPA certification, 5-7 years of relevant experience, and deep knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 and ASC 842. Requirements

• CPA required
• 5-7 years of accounting experience in a SaaS or technology company
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex accounting issues clearly

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and ongoing compliance with complex accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) in a SaaS environment
• Own the process for proper treatment of contracts, performance obligations, and variable consideration
• Evaluate Goodwill for impairment and assist with other PBC audit schedules
• Be able to support all areas of accounting (we work as a team)
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Partner with external auditors on the annual audit and prepare technical accounting memos
• Assist with financial statement preparation, including footnotes and supporting schedules
• Own stock based compensation calculations
• Tackle special projects, including system improvements and process enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, SalesForce, various Billing Solutions (Zone, Zuora, etc)
• Remote work experience
