Summary

Join Ashby as their first Senior Accountant and contribute to the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, billing, and month-end close process. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Assist with Accounts payable
  • Support financial audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
  • Help maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Perform ad hoc accounting projects as assigned
  • Manage billings inquiries
  • Assist with invoicing and collections
  • Potentially process payroll

Preferred Qualifications

Prior audit experience or experience preparing for first audit
