Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) and internal controls
- Proven ability to lead efficient close cycles and continuously improve financial processes
- Experience scaling a finance functions in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
- Skilled in analyzing and presenting financial data that informs decisions
- Background working within a group of companies or on consolidated financials
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership β you take initiative, identify opportunities, and follow through to make processes better
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively , with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process for the region, delivering accurate and timely financial results while continuously improving efficiency
- Oversee and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure completeness and compliance
- Own and manage regional financial documentation to support internal controls, audits, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Support the growth of our Australian operations by helping establish scalable financial processes that align with local regulations and global standards
- Collaborate closely with FP&A and cross-functional teams to align on reporting needs, support business planning, and drive operational insights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with accounting systems and acting as a system administrator
