Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in general ledger and payroll accounting
- Experience working with global ERP systems and payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting concepts
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and execute multiple tasks, with high commitment to quality and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Spearhead month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts
- Oversee global payroll processing, including salaries and wages, bonuses, commissions, benefits, 401K, payroll taxes, etc
- Conduct comprehensive monthly and quarterly flux analyses by providing in-depth context on period-over-period variances and researching discrepancies
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., human resources, finance) and provide expert guidance on accounting matters
- Proactively identify any gaps within the accounting processes and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust internal control environment
- Liaise with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, preparing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries
- Support new initiatives and ad-hoc projects, as needed
