Senior Accountant

Summary

Circle is a financial technology company looking for a Senior Accountant to join their consolidation team. The Senior Accountant will support the production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, track and report on intercompany activity and FX impacts, ensure accurate elimination entries, identify process improvements, and assist with design, management, and maintenance of the global chart of accounts and legal entity structures in ERP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Highly proficient in advanced excel functions
• Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Experience with finance system implementations or integrations
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite

Responsibilities

• Support production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Track and report on all intercompany activity and FX related impacts for financial reporting
• Ensure consolidation and elimination entries are reflected in a complete and accurate manner
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies for the close
• Support the design, management and maintenance of the global chart of accounts and legal entity structures in ERP

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 or large regional firm experience
• Understanding of the digital assets or FinTech industry

Benefits

• Compensation ranges from $102,500 to $137,500
• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%
