Senior Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is a must
• Experience interpreting and working with complex datasets
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a team player at heart

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance checks on data integrations between financial systems
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or data integrity issues across financial systems
• Analyze financial data to verify accuracy, identify variances, and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, engineering, and analytics to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
• Assist in preparing reconciliations and executing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the company’s financial reporting capabilities
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification is an advantage
• Participation in system migrations or integration projects is a plus
• Experience with NetSuite and/or working in a multinational company is an advantage
