Summary
Join Foresight Diagnostics, a venture-backed molecular diagnostics company, as their Senior Accountant. You will oversee revenue accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accruals, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. This role involves supporting the month-end close cycle, building scalable accounting processes, and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 4+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of US GAAP. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including expertise in revenue, AR, accruals, and full-cycle month-end close
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and risk assessment
- Experience with Netsuite ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
- Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities and communicate proactively
- Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining professionalism in all matters
Responsibilities
- Fully own revenue accounting, accounts receivable, and the accruals process
- Support the month-end close cycle and other GL and operational duties such as audit efforts
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls, contributing to audit readiness and operational enhancements
- Build and enhance internal processes to support scalability and automation while maintaining compliance
- Assist with system implementations and integrations, as needed
- Develop a deep understanding of the Netsuite
- Assist in onboarding and guiding the development of additional staff or contractors as the team grows
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet accounting and business goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Netsuite ARM experience is highly preferred
- Industry experience in biotechnology, genomics, or diagnostics industries, experience with clinical research/regulated products, highly preferred
- CPA and public accounting experience is highly preferred, but not required
