Requirements

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Have 3+ years experience in corporate accounting
• Possess a CPA or equivalent certification or are a candidate

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for quality of work product, including both success and failures
• Drive best in class processes such as the financial statement close, inventory, fixed assets, compensation accounting, debt and compliance, accruals and leases
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and mitigating financial risks
• Ensure all financial practices comply with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the corporate accounting function and the border organization
• Partner with departments such as FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or a publicly traded company
• CPA or equivalent certification
• Proven track record of managing and implementing process improvements
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analytics
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting financial information to executive leadership
