Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, preferably with some experience in high-growth, venture backed startup environment
  • Extensive knowledge of SaaS business models and ideally experience with helping international company expand into the US market
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP standards (including ASC 606 and 842) and experience with financial audit preparation and execution
  • Profound knowledge of US Sales Tax
  • Proven experience managing ERP or accounting solution migrations
  • Strong ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee our accounting operations shaping the foundation of Parloa`s US footprint
  • Act as the primary accountant to the US team, ensuring financial integrity and compliance as we scale
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline US financial processes
  • Implement robust controls, and guide the company through critical initiatives such as ERP/Tool migrations, financial audits, and tax audits ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and tax compliance
