Senior Finance Manager

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a client specializing in software and services for business process modeling, systems analysis, and software engineering. This role involves managing all aspects of daily accounting, overseeing external accounting teams, leading month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring statutory and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in finance or accounting, a strong understanding of Polish accounting standards, and excellent analytical and communication skills. The position offers B2B employment, 90% remote work, a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, and a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles (6+ yrs experience), preferably in a hardware technology company
• Strong understanding of Polish accounting standards and Tax Law
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial management software and Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish (Mandatory)
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with external partners and internal teams
• Highly energetic and hands-on attitude! Strive to get things done and find solutions whatever it takes

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the daily accounting
• Overseeing the work of external accounting teams across various entities
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Accounts reconciliation
• Key person during the annual audit process
• Ensure statutory and tax compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements (Income statement, Balance Sheet)
• Manage AR and AP on a daily basis
• Manage and prepare company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budget guidelines
• Support with preparing and executing payments
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Cash flow monitoring and planning
