Summary
The job is for a Senior Analyst in the Accounts Receivable team of KAYAK's Financial Operations Team. The role involves maintaining a clean AR ledger, ensuring timely collections, accurate cash application, identifying high-risk customers, reviewing credit ratings, improving cash & collection procedures, supporting metric collection, participating in ad-hoc projects, developing training materials, and possessing strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree is required in a finance related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections/I2C role in a large multi currency multinational environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an ability to explain technical or sophisticated concepts in an understandable way to business partners
- Commercial awareness with good influencing and negotiation skills, both with customers and within an organization (ability to work with remote team members)
- Phenomenal teammate with attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Solution focused with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Must possess a process standardization & improvement mentality
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of open invoices for customers
- Work closely with both internal & external colleagues to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Ensure the timely application of payments received adhering to all SLAβs
- Highlight any high risk customers to management & ensure they are not falling delinquent
- Review existing credit ratings and ensure any credit risk ratings are appropriate and accurate and in the best interest of the company
- Chip in to an ongoing review of all cash & collection procedures, identifying, developing and communicating improvements
- Support the collating of metrics and KPIβs
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as deemed necessary
- Develop & maintain training materials
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Experience with Sales Force & NetSuite preferred
- Experience in a SOX environment is preferred
- Experience working within a global team & process is preferable
