Requirements

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management, particularly in software licensing and services
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and procurement software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP Ariba, Coupa), with knowledge of software asset management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, risk management, and supplier segmentation, particularly in services and software categories

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract negotiations with service and software suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, with an emphasis on software licensing agreements and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor contract performance and enforce contract terms and conditions, focusing on optimizing service delivery and software compliance
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and enhance supplier performance in services and software categories
  • Manage the supplier selection process, including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations, with a focus on software and service vendors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and service levels, particularly in IT services and software
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze procurement data, providing insights for strategic decision-making in services and software procurement
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track procurement performance metrics, focusing on software license utilization and service quality
  • Conduct comprehensive spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies for services and software
  • Oversee data cleansing and collection efforts to maintain accurate and reliable procurement data, with a focus on software asset management
  • Collaborate with finance and IT departments to ensure accurate reporting and data management in software and services procurement
  • Lead risk management efforts by identifying, assessing, and mitigating procurement risks, particularly in services and software
  • Facilitate the collection, cleansing, and reporting of risk-related data, focusing on software compliance and service delivery risks
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders, particularly in IT and legal departments
  • Support supplier segmentation initiatives by collecting, validating, and analyzing relevant data for software and services suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects or categories, particularly in IT or services procurement
  • Familiarity with industry-specific procurement challenges and opportunities in software and services
