Summary

The job is for a Senior Analyst with 4+ years of experience in international indirect taxes and accounting to join StockX's Finance team. The role involves managing indirect tax compliance, tax accounts reconciliation, researching international indirect tax issues, implementing indirect tax strategies, and collaborating with various internal teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant tax experience in a corporate environment, public accounting firm or major law firm
• Good understanding of key VAT/GST principles
• Experience of performing tax account reconciliation is essential

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the preparation and submission of indirect tax filings for the European, Asia Pacific and North American regions
• Be responsible for the tax accounts reconciliation to make sure accurate representation of the tax liability/asset in the Financial Statements
• Research and analyze international indirect tax issues for new business initiatives outlining VAT/GST impacts, tax requirements, and recommendations, including cross team coordination
• Assist with implementation of indirect tax strategies and projects
• Build relationships with team members across StockX to ensure the Tax team is effectively partnering with various internal teams
• Assist with external and internal audits and ad-hoc queries from the leadership and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in law or accounting (CPA, Chartered Tax Advisor or equivalent), graduate degree in taxation strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change with a desire to learn, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects and possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Benefits

• Base salary range is $80,000 to $135,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary
