Summary

Join Instacart's Market Strategy and Planning team as a Senior Associate and contribute to the success of Instacart Storefront, our enterprise e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, enhancing pre-sales efforts, serving as an e-commerce platform expert, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, identifying sales pipeline bottlenecks, working with the product team on bespoke solutions, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in sales/account management, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The position is remote, with a base pay range of $131,000-$145,000 CAD (Canada) and eligibility for equity grants. Instacart offers market-competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in sales/account management, commercial strategy, sales operations (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret sales data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders and guiding XFN teams
  • Experience working with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify and prioritize opportunities
  • Thrives in ambiguity and executes with limited oversight
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities across Instacart’s enterprise e-commerce strategies that are applicable to new markets and existing expansion opportunities
  • Enhance our pre-sales efforts to accelerate pipeline activity from outreach to signature including development of sales collateral, sales playbooks, and training materials
  • Serve as the expert on our e-commerce platform offering, reinforcing Instacart’s value propositions during the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Retail, Marketing and Finance to monitor, track & report sales pipeline to help refine strategies
  • Identify bottlenecks in the commercial lifecycle and propose scalable solutions
  • Work closely with the product team to develop bespoke solutions for high-value partnerships
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment, reflecting our value of "Go Far Together."

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales support or strategy role, particularly within retail tech, e-commerce or digital marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with fulfillment platforms and e-commerce technologies
  • Proven track record of improving sales processes and collateral
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
