Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a billing specialist or analyst role, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex billing scenarios
• Eagerness to develop leadership skills and mentor junior team members
• Solid understanding of subscription billing models and best practices
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, utilizing tools like Excel or similar platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with CRM and billing software systems (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite)

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex customer billing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end subscription billing process, from setup and management to cancellations
• Assist in developing and refining billing operation metrics reporting, contributing to data-driven decision-making
• Participate in quality assurance efforts to maintain high standards and minimize errors
• Collaborate effectively with Revenue Organization to ensure timely and accurate billing for all customers
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of billing processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions
• Assist in implementing best practices and exploring automation opportunities
• Thoroughly document problem resolution steps for client issues, building a knowledge base and contributing to continuous improvement
