Summary

They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team and bridge the gap between clients' business needs and technical solutions. The BA will be responsible for requirement elicitation, documentation, management, communication, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience as a BA, relevant education, and proficiency in various tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Has 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development context
  • Has a Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, college degree, or certification in a relevant field
  • Is bilingual (French and English)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Turn business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and produce comprehensive documentation
  • Manage and prioritize requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals, scope, and timelines
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and development teams, facilitating communication
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and software development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Has experience with IIBA/PMI certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PBA ...)
  • Has previous software development experience or familiarity with the software development lifecycle and experience working on custom software development projects
  • Has experience working in Agile development environments, particularly with Scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • Understanding of specific industries such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or manufacturing, and familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools such as SQL, Excel, or data visualization platforms
