Summary

Join Olo's newly formed central analytics team as a Senior Business Data Analyst! Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Analytics, you will support the implementation team's analytic and reporting needs, driving performance management and key decisions. Your work will be critical in establishing a new baseline for quality reporting and analysis. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo's NYC headquarters. You will develop and maintain reporting, SQL queries, and interactive dashboards, conduct deep-dive analyses, monitor data quality, and troubleshoot data-related issues. This is a key role in a growing team, offering significant impact on Olo's success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis, experience with querying Salesforce data a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and Looker
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity when technical requirements may need to be discovered
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain a suite of reporting for the Implementation Leadership, establishing new KPIs & leading indicators of success
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Snowflake, combining data from multiple systems
  • Create and manage interactive dashboards using Tableau and Looker to visualize key performance metrics and insights
  • Conduct deep dive analysis in close coordination with the Implementation leadership team to develop an understanding of performance drivers
  • Monitor data quality & work with stakeholder teams to build & maintain a culture of data hygiene
  • Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing solutions to improve data usability and accessibility
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence
