Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, client strategy, or sales, preferably within the data center or related technology sectors
  • Strong knowledge of the data center market, including key players, trends, and technologies
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing long-term client relationships
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center, pharma, or energy sectors
  • Working with Key Account Managers, develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate target markets and expand the companyโ€™s footprint
  • Lead the creation of proposals, presentations, and client pitches tailored to specific needs and opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and alignment with client goals
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders
  • Develop client account strategies to maximize retention, satisfaction, and growth
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams on market dynamics and client needs
  • Partner with internal teams, including consulting, engineering, project management, and operations, to align business development efforts with company capabilities
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth
