Summary

Join Hopper as a Sr. Business Development Manager- Flights and manage relationships with strategic airline partners, driving sales growth and building long-term partnerships to achieve company goals. You will be responsible for account management, developing growth strategies, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses at least 6 years of sales/account management experience, preferably in airline distribution, and strong communication and presentation skills. Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years sales/account management experience with successful background of driving revenue growth for key accounts
  • Ability to craft and deliver compelling and data driven presentations
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills with ability to distinguish urgent from important work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage your portfolio of airline accounts like a business: develop and execute growth strategies; track and monitor performance; and drive analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunity
  • Understand key business drivers for the airline partner and create specific initiatives to support their overall strategy and direction
  • Uncover opportunities to improve commercial relationships; summarize and articulate to internal teams, and develop strategies to address, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Organize, schedule and conduct in-person quarterly business reviews
  • Work with financial teams on forecast and revenue projections for partnerships
  • Develop marketing strategies and execute I/Os with airline partners in support of our Growth team
  • Negotiate net new contracts and contract extensions with partners in your individual account portfolio
  • Interface between the partner and our internal teams to provide operational support, ensuring delivery of an excellent experience for each traveler
  • Develop a strong understanding of the global travel market, with a particular focus on the dynamics of the airline industry including new and legacy distribution capabilities and their economic impact for both the partner and Hopper
