Join Henry Schein One as a Sr. Customer Training Specialist and manage sustainment activities for government projects. You will develop and maintain training content, conduct training analysis, provide subject matter expertise, and collaborate with internal and external teams. Requirements

  • 5+ year of related professional experience
  • Experienced using Practice Management Software, specifically Dentrix Enterprise
  • Experienced in the dental industry working with large, enterprise government organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to train customers face-to face or virtually
  • Good decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and maintain existing customized CDRL content for multiple government projects based on specific software builds and supplemental or source content upon government and LPDH approved requests
  • Conduct training analysis and continually access training processes to correct gaps and deficiencies in training methodology when supporting and providing feedback on ongoing development of training materials for both new trainers and end users
  • Provide escalation and subject matter expertise at the Training Specialist II Labor Category, for DHMSM Sustainment
  • Provide consulting to content development team members and clinical subject matter experts (SME) on content impacts resulting from Dental Workflow changes, domain refreshes, and recommended changes/feedback received from various stakeholders
  • Participate in screen sharing with content developers, as needed, to gather system screen captures /videos necessary to complete content updates
  • Participate in peer reviews of training content as part of the pre-delivery documentation review process
  • Review and approve in writing Dentrix Enterprise training content to be used on government programs
  • Facilitate training working session and workshops with key stakeholders which may include demonstrations, webinars, and other online training tools
  • Liaison with external partners to manage teams shared between multiple groups
  • Maintain Certification status on multiple software builds
  • Review and approve trainer expense reports following training department guidelines
  • Work with multiple team members across different partnership groups to create monthly project status reports
  • Develop and deliver executive level presentations to all workstream leaders across the project
  • Defining and aligning projects, resources, budget, objectives, to overall business strategy
  • Escalate TRAIN domain issues during content validation
  • Collaborate with content developers, clinical SMEs, and Oracle Cerner Train Domain Team to complete TRAIN domain refresh activities based on the Domain Refresh Schedule (two times per year), to include: Review all Patient Data Profiles (PDP)/tent cards for accuracy
  • Create all training patients and encounters (PDP Staging) across three TRAIN domains
  • Generate tent cards each for four clinics and eight dental courses
  • Perform a walkthrough of the Dental Training content in the MOCK domain
  • Research and perform resolutions to all fixes found during validation
  • Coordinate domain schedules and baseline copies
  • Manually load source TRAIN domain during re-staging window
  • Validate all hospitals/clinics of newly loaded train domain against Dental Training Track content and tent cards
  • Lead co-validation event with DHA
  • Classroom facilitation - responsible for all aspects of supervision, organization, and delivery of existing and new trainer training curriculum per the standards of the specific government project for virtual or in person Continuous learning Calls, Train-the-Trainer, Just-in-Time training, Instructor-led-Training, or Over-Shoulder Support, as needed
  • Act as lead trainer for onsite training seminars
  • Able to travel for multiple weeks at a time to deliver training

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s Degree or Masterโ€™s Degree in a related field
