Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry (auto required, commercial auto preferred)
- Proven experience leading claims teams and working with third-party administrators
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages, claims processes, and industry regulations
- Experience analyzing claims data to assess and improve portfolio performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
- Experience working with product or technology teams to implement and manage claims systems and processes
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Claims team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Uphold Fairmatic’s service standards, delivering exceptional customer experiences across the claims process
- Cultivate and manage relationships with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), ensuring performance meets both contractual expectations and company standards
- Collaborate with carrier partners to streamline and optimize claims processing and resolution
- Partner with the Product team to design and refine claims processes that drive efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall claims strategy, ensuring alignment with Fairmatic’s business objectives
- Develop and track key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of claims operations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure Fairmatic’s claims processes remain innovative and compliant
- Ensure all claims activities comply with relevant laws and regulations
