Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Data Analyst in India, working full-time with the option to work from home, on-site, or hybrid. We're looking for someone with 4+ years of experience and strong SQL skills to perform complex data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong experience in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and aggregations, to manipulate and analyze large datasets
• Proven experience with AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools to create compelling, interactive dashboards and reports
• Basic proficiency in Python for scripting and automating data workflows and analysis tasks
• Experience working with cloud-based data environments, preferably AWS, and understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data insights clearly and effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

• Perform complex data analysis using strong SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets
• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive data visualizations using AWS QuickSight and Tableau to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals
• Provide basic Python scripting to automate data workflows, enhance reporting processes, and support ad hoc analysis requests
• Generate clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assist in data modeling, data cleansing, and integrating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and visualizations
• Continuously evaluate and enhance data analysis methodologies and visualization tools to improve efficiency and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills (window functions, stored procedures, etc.)
• Proficiency with AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or other visualization tools
• Basic Python scripting experience
• Data modeling and ETL process knowledge
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing (e.g., Amazon Redshift, S3, etc.)
• Knowledge of data version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Strong experience with data analysis techniques and statistical methods
