Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data quality
  • Proven experience managing data analytics projects and reporting to senior management
  • Advanced SQL, Python, or R skills for data manipulation and automation
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Based in Spain or Portugal
  • Technical background in life sciences data or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills with large, complex datasets
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner with a growth mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote, international environment

Responsibilities

  • Assure that data quality and compliance meet our high standards
  • Extract data from databases (e.g., Redshift, Mongo DB)
  • Analyze large data sets and generate insights
  • Identify data gaps and quality issues and provide root cause analysis
  • Build and maintain a technical data model (entity relationship diagram)
  • Create customized reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or relevant certifications in data analysis or life sciences
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage and analysis
  • Familiarity with automation tools or workflows to streamline data processing
  • Basic knowledge or experience with machine learning algorithms and applications
  • Knowledge of best practices for data governance, quality control, and compliance (e.g., GDPR)
  • Ability to work with diverse teams (e.g., product, engineering, operations) to align data strategies with business objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues efficiently
  • Proficiency in other languages would be beneficial in an international team environment
