Summary

The job is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at Conductor, a leading Website Optimization & Intelligence platform. The role involves deploying, updating, optimizing applications, assessing system health, educating peers on best practices, ensuring quality of data processing SaaS environment, building automations, collaborating with stakeholders, assisting the Information Security team, and having 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience working in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments and managed hosting environments (on-premise as well)
• Professional experience with administering, scaling, and supporting ElasticSearch and similar data clusters
• Expertise and seasoned competence with Cloud native and physical Infrastructure
• Have configured CI/CD for tooling and technologies including Kubernetes and Terraform
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Deploy, update, and optimize applications to cloud and on-premise hosted environments
• Optimize large distributed databases ingesting multiple terabytes of data per day
• Assess the health of systems and infrastructure to advocate for upgrades, maintenance, and changes
• Educate peers and development teams on best practices for developing and sustaining large data sets in ElasticSearch
• Ensure quality, availability, reliability, and performance of massive scale data processing SaaS environment
• Build automations, dashboards, and best-in-class observability for a large distributed system in varied hosting environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Engineering organization to integrate and optimize legacy systems and acquisitions
• Assist the Information Security team on security initiatives, provide auditable workflows for change management, and monitor for security issues and incidents
