Senior DevOps Engineer, Remote - United States

Summary

The job is for a DevOps Engineer at Madwire, a US-based digital marketing company. The employee will maintain the infrastructure for Marketing 360 and help resolve problems. They should have at least 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer and knowledge of Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD tools, IaC tools, and more.

Requirements

• 5+ yrs professional experience as a DevOps engineer (or similar) managing Kubernetes, on Google Cloud Platform and AWS
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools like CircleCI or GitHub Actions
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Ability to work in a team environment within a fast-paced product team
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Help maintain the infrastructure for Marketing 360
• Debug and monitor existing services and help resolve problems
• Contribute to infrastructure initiatives to improve reliability and reduce costs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with delivery of a SaaS product
• Understanding of micro-services and related architectures
• Working understanding of firewalls, security groups, and networking
• Development experience, ideally with Go, JS/TS, or Python a plus
• Working knowledge of relational and / NoSQL databases
