Summary

Join Life360 as a Senior Director, Global Growth Media to lead worldwide media performance, digital channel effectiveness, and customer journey optimization. Manage a substantial global media budget, collaborating with internal and external teams to accelerate Life360’s growth. Drive cross-functional collaboration with data science, analytics, and RevTech teams, evolving measurement and optimization frameworks. Align performance marketing with business objectives and long-range planning, navigating complex collaborations across various departments. Own the entire media spectrum, from demand creation to brand awareness and performance conversion, developing brand media strategies and optimizing high-intent media across sales channels. This role requires strong leadership, innovation, and strategic influence to build a high-performing team and champion change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • An innovator in the media space with a strong track record of both bold strategic initiatives and continuous improvement, driven by rigorous experimentation
  • 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in media and performance media, digital marketing, brand marketing, or full-funnel growth roles
  • Proven experience managing $10M+ working media budgets and optimizing media across multiple geographies and channels
  • An expert in both the art and science of media, encompassing creative alignment, campaign planning, channel orchestration, and experimentation. You challenge conventional "best practices," recognize pseudo-science, and take calculated risks to innovate
  • Deep fluency in performance measurement, including MMM, attribution models, A/B testing, and forecasting
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with data science, analytics, product, and MarTech teams to drive impact
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and a strong willingness to learn and experiment with AI-driven and agent-based systems to achieve successful full-funnel marketing at scale
  • Highly strategic and systems-minded—able to architect integrated performance programs and identify growth levers
  • Applies critical thinking and design thinking to campaign development, funnel design, and go-to-market strategy
  • Bias for action and operational rigor—moves quickly, structures clearly, and executes consistently
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and lead through influence at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and execution for all paid media channels: linear and streaming video, search, social, app store, programmatic, digital video, and emerging platforms
  • Manage and optimize Life360’s global working media budget, ensuring strong ROI and strategic flexibility
  • Lead strategy and execution across the entire media funnel, from brand media to demand capture
  • Oversee global campaign planning, creative collaboration, media pacing, and agency accountability
  • Partner with regional leads to tailor media approaches by market and audience
  • Drive integrated, collaborative, and innovative campaign and evergreen initiatives, including robust documentation and budget management
  • Provide strong thought leadership to evolve marketing towards iconic brand status
  • Align with Web Sales Ops and Product to enhance landing page strategy, conversion funnels, and digital offer performance
  • Design and optimize integrated customer journeys from ad exposure to conversion, optimizing for relevance and efficiency
  • Own SEO/GEO strategy and execution, aligning with content, engineering, and design/UX
  • Oversee campaign QA, trafficking, budget tracking, and performance reporting systems
  • Lead coordination with MarTech, Analytics, and Data Science teams to build and refine key measurement frameworks: MMM, attribution models (last-touch, incrementality, blended), and AI-enhanced targeting and spend allocation
  • Champion the systems and tooling required for velocity, quality, and insight
  • Own marketing strategy and performance for the Amazon channel (organic + paid)
  • Align lifecycle, product, and promotional strategies across key retail partners (e.g., Best Buy, Walmart)
  • Partner with Retail, Growth, and Creative teams to drive omnichannel execution
  • Lead embedded agency teams and internal marketers with clarity, urgency, and high expectations
  • Contribute to building a competitive moat through innovative operating models, leveraging AI and human synergy for unmatched efficiency and strategic brand positioning
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team rooted in strategic thinking, executional excellence, and continuous innovation
  • Promote a culture of systems thinking, orchestrating seamless cross-functional alignment across marketing, product, and data
  • Champion change management initiatives tied to global expansion, AI transformation, and operational scale

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with retail marketing/e-tailers is strongly preferred
