Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 yearsβ experience with Google Ads, Analytics, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, various programmatic vendors and other relevant ad and call tracking platforms
- Experience with managing a team, including entry level to management level employees
- Proven competence with digital marketing channel strategy and implementation, as well as data-driven insights and recommendations
- High-level expertise on tracking tags implementation and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Communicate department information and participate in rollout of company and department initiatives
- Lead team meetings with direct reports to go over important information for the week, ensuring correct messaging is communicated
- Participate in monthly department call to share information, updates and success stories with the department
- Exhibit a passion for leadership, coaching, mentoring and management, and be committed to learning, growth and development in this area
- Develop forums for training and growth opportunities, such as for campaign optimizations, specialties, service lines and client interactions. Establish a more open dialogue/sharing of information amongst pods and team members
- Collaborate with the VP, Performance Marketing and direct reports to define roles and responsibilities for areas within the Paid Performance Marketing team. Communicate and educate teams on roles and clarify for better organizational structure
- Continue to increase scalability and efficiencies within the teams and structures; streamline processes and procedures
- Be the champion for your team for rollouts of new processes that will better serve our clients and help us gain efficiencies. Areas of continued improvement include budget management/tracking as well as monthly reporting. Each of these workstreams has WIP proprietary tools that will need to be adopted and monitored
- Oversee client or team member movement and transitions when necessary
- Brainstorm staffing solutions when needed
- Think proactively about future staffing or client needs
- Create transition plans or work with direct reports to ensure smooth transitions
- Oversee transitions to ensure timing stays on track; communicate any delays
- Constructively participate in leadership discussions, strategy and planning to further drive the organization forward
- Support leadership in company direction, directives, rollouts, communication and objectives
- Participate in hiring process: interviewing, vetting candidates and collaborating to select the best hires
- Supervise the onboarding process of new team members
- Collaborate with training managers to ensure set-up of team-member shadowing/mentorship and monitor training process
- Conduct employee reviews, performance plans (if needed), crucial conversations and other standard manager tasks
- Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports for performance and development purposes, with documentation of conversations, issues and to-dos
- Manage progressive discipline process if needed, including extensive performance documentation and creation. Monitor and follow through on performance improvement plans
- Approve time off requests, client visits, travel, conference opportunities for all direct reports; ensure adequate client and team coverage during PTO
- Encourage others to resolve conflict directly as a first step, get involved when necessary
- Oversee distribution of new client accounts to best allocate resources amongst the Campaign Operations team
- Collaborate with Digital Program Directors and Client Leads to ensure streamlined process, communication and onboarding for new client accounts and projects with team members
