Senior Director, Finance

Summary

Join Aledade as the Senior Director of Finance and lead a team of Finance Business Partners, driving strategic financial thought partnership across the organization. This role involves developing and refining the team's structure, processes, and tools, while supporting key initiatives like capital planning and corporate development. You will provide thought leadership and guidance to build trusted relationships and support strategic decision-making. The position offers flexibility in geographic location, with options for remote work or working from the Bethesda, MD office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with extensive experience in finance and team management.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with a BS/BA in finance, accounting or a related field
• 5+ years team leadership / people management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners supporting key departments across the organization
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on how this team can build trusted relationships and support strategic decision making across the business with a financial lens
• Develop and communicate the team’s strategic direction including areas of innovation to meet changing business needs
• Support ideation and management of strategic finance initiatives in support of the organization’s medium- and long-term goals, including capital planning and related execution activities with external parties and evaluation of corporate development opportunities
• Help coordinate and develop cross functional processes, report outs for leadership forums where needed, briefing senior team members on project progress and issues, etc

• Strong internal customer service focus, with strong interpersonal skills -- excellent at communication, building relationships, and working across all company levels
• Flexibility, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity; ability to embrace change and build structure into a less defined work environment
• Ability to use independent judgment and work under pressure on competing responsibilities with resilience, and a high level of ownership
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in appropriately handling sensitive information is required
