Summary

Join Netlify's High Velocity sales team as a Senior Leader and play a pivotal role in shaping sales strategy and execution in North America. You will recruit, develop, and lead high-velocity sales teams, drive customer acquisition, and consistently deliver against revenue targets. This role requires deep experience in high-velocity selling, proven expertise in leading and mentoring teams, and a strong track record of landing commercial customers. Requirements

  • Deep experience in high velocity selling, with proven expertise in leading and mentoring teams of High Velocity Account Executives
  • Proven track record of landing commercial customers (2,000 employees or less) and selling complex technical products with an average selling price of over $30k
  • Well-versed in selling to technical audiences and translating technical requirements into business outcomes, with the abilityΒ to understand and articulate technical concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of empathy, thoughtfulness, and empowerment
  • Experience within high-growth startups where iterative process-building is essential
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in value selling and building executive business cases
  • Proven ability to be hands-on, building strategic executive relationships with customers and supporting your team in the field
  • Extensive experience in mid-market and enterprise SaaS sales, along with significant people management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the sales and go-to-market organization, advocating for customers and their long-term success

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-velocity sales teams focused on commercial and mid-market segments
  • Drive customer acquisition while coaching teams on consultative selling to technical buyers
  • Consistently deliver against revenue targets by leveraging proven sales methodologies
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term success
  • Guide team development in solution-based sales skills throughout the sales cycle
  • Leverage CRM tools to optimize pipeline management and sales efficiency
  • Collaborate with product teams to align solutions with customer needs
  • Lead strategic outbound efforts to expand market presence
  • Report to the CCO while working across GTM teams
  • Be accountable for revenue growth and new client acquisition targets
  • Demonstrate consultative leadership with a product-centric approach

Benefits

  • Because this role is eligible to participate in Netlify's commission plan, it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $307,000 -Β  $415,000
  • The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location
