Join Warby Parker as a Senior Director of Managed Vision Care (MVC) to lead and grow our managed vision care business. Requirements
- Backed by 11+ years of experience in vision insurance or health insurance
- An inspiring leader that has proven to drive collaboration and results in cross-functional projects and initiatives
- A proactive, inquisitive self-starter who's eager to learn
- Not on the Office of Inspector Generalβs List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage payor relationships, leading contract negotiations and business reviews
- Develop a strategy to continue expanding our insurance business through existing and new payor relationships (and, as applicable, directly with employers) by applying your expertise to optimize our positioning, messaging, and offering to insurance customers
- Manage plan set-up, driven by both internal and external changes in product offering, and work cross-functionally to identify actions needed and support execution
- Drive process improvements to achieve better customer experiences and financial results by supporting a cross-functional team to prioritize and execute on best practices
- Partner with our Retail and Customer Experience teams to create trainings and operating procedures that support our insurance customers
- Establish internal controls, performance standards, and KPIs for the core insurance operations, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements
- Partner with the Finance and Strategy teams to develop, analyze, and trend insurance financial reports for management and executive-level officers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a retail or consumer/patient environment
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
