Summary

Join Promethean as a Sr Director, Marketing and lead global teams in developing and executing strategic marketing plans aligned with company objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in related industry
  • 8+ years of marketing leadership experience managing diverse teams, providing valuable feedback, coaching, and mentoring
  • Proven track record of measurable success in developing and executing marketing strategies that build brand awareness and positive sentiment through modern marketing activities
  • Strong understanding of public relations, brand marketing, and communications principles, with the ability to translate company objectives into actionable plans
  • A proven storyteller, with a record of accomplishment of developing engaging content – including brief writing and providing feedback on creative concepts
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for brand exposure and engagement
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across departments to achieve common goals
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and optimize strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a global marketing strategy/plan that drives awareness and aligns to the pipeline, revenue targets, product marketing and brand strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing and messaging strategy encompassing public relations, social, brand marketing, product marketing and communications strategies
  • Identify marketing, sales and channel enablement requirements and gather feedback on marketing activities
  • Create marketing and communication plans tailored to support company priorities, incorporating key messages and content to maximize positive exposure and enhance brand awareness in core and growth markets
  • Manage a program for Marketing teams to effectively engage customers and stakeholders by communicating our product and brand messaging
  • Manage global and regional marketing budgets and program prioritization
  • Amplify the voice of the company through proactive outreach initiatives aimed at securing media coverage and increasing market awareness
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to further promote Promethean's brand and mission
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform communication strategies and adapt messaging accordingly
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular reports to leadership
  • Ensure that creative teams know what they need to create to meet brand and business objectives
  • Holds a key role in the planning and development of go-to-market brand storytelling campaigns and a global calendar which defines marketing priorities
  • Drive creative workstreams with the internal creative team to bring the strategy to life visually
  • Works cross-functionally on the development of campaigns aligning to campaign strategy
  • Manages the relationship with agencies responsible for public relations and media-related communication activities to ensure positive, proactive messaging and discussions exist regarding Promethean
  • Oversee the communication of official external and internal company messaging, including global public relations, social media, campaign content, and competitive intelligence
  • Helps develop strategies that increase the influence and reach among audiences and increase the share of voice and engagement across social media platforms
  • Oversee global persona-based content creation in line with our inbound marketing strategy
  • Encourages and promotes cross-functional collaboration among internal teams, including brand, digital, and field marketing, and external agencies to scope and streamline initiatives while ensuring global consistency
  • Develop, monitor, and share key performance indicators across the corporate communications strategy
  • Hire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team by embracing Promethean core values
