Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years of experience managing and leading cross-functional technical teams
• Proven success scaling and enabling engineering teams at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
• Demonstrated track record of establishing and executing best practices and process improvements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with executives, customers, and team members
• Ability to establish and maintain priorities in a rapidly evolving environment
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Strong systems design and architecture skills
• Proven experience delivering high-quality, stable, and scalable software

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and lead a team of Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, including technical leads and managers
• Ensure professional growth and skill development across the Engineering department
• Establish scalable processes that reflect best practices for software development
• Partner with Engineering leadership and Human Resources to attract, hire, and retain top talent
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, initiatives, and roadmaps for our products
• Provide strategic technical leadership and guidance to the Engineering department
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to define product requirements
• Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure the Engineering team is meeting key deadlines and deliverables
• Support the timely, high-quality delivery of software features, improvements, and bug fixes
• Demonstrate best practices from conception to deployment by diligently reviewing code
