Summary

Accumulus is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to support the growth of their organization by developing a financial strategy, managing accounting and compliance, and navigating international finance operations. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance or similar role, prior experience at a non-profit organization, and a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CFA or CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance or similar role
• Prior experience at a non-profit organization is required

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and investors on financial matters
• Offer insights into the financial implications of major decisions
• Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision-making
• Lead the budgeting process and collaborate with functional leads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Implement cutting-edge finance technologies to optimize operations and enhance efficiency across the organization
• Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks
• Manage Financial Statements (Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activities, Statement of Cash Flows)
• Ensure timely execution and ongoing refinement of procurement activities
• Develop and implement robust compliance, accounting, and audit policies
• Establish internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage the annual third-party financial audit
• Prepare and file annual tax returns
