Summary
Join Trusted Media Brands' growing London team as a results-driven seller focusing on licensing premium video content. You will build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, and production companies. This role requires exceeding sales targets, developing tailored licensing solutions, and negotiating agreements. Success involves securing large-scale licensing agreements and educating clients on the value of user-generated content (UGC). The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in video licensing and a strong network within the creative media industry.
Requirements
- 7+ years working with Brand & Agency clients in the UK and ideally other key markets in EMEA
- Proven sales experience in video licensing, media sales, or a related field, preferably with brands like Shutterstock, Getty, Pond5, or similar companies
- Strong background in UGC, its benefits, challenges, etc
- Strong understanding of licensing models, creative media industries, and client needs
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Experience working with internal systems (Salesforce) to track sales activities and performance
- Ability to travel regularly to meet clients and to attend events
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, creative agencies, production companies, and other potential clients
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Develop tailored licensing solutions to meet client needs, emphasizing the value of our video content library (UGC)
- Negotiate licensing agreements and contracts with a focus on securing long-term relationships and maximizing revenue
- Secure large-scale licensing agreements and network agency contracts to be preferred vendor for UGC video and clearance services
- Strategically activate these deals with your peers across sister agencies and divisions, ensuring maximum utilization and revenue generation
- Educate clients, especially brands and agencies, on the value and power of user-generated content (UGC) in storytelling, campaigns, and creative work
- Present compelling use cases, data, and creative solutions to help agencies and brands integrate UGC into their strategies
- Act as a thought leader, participating in discussions, workshops, and events to position our company as a leader in UGC-driven licensing solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Start-up experience, knowledge of video content trends and creative workflows is a plus
- Strong network in the advertising, creative agency, or media production industries is highly desirable
