Summary
Join Vercel's Partner Team as the Sr. Director of Partnerships, North America, and lead the expansion of our partner channel in the region. You will develop and execute strategies for growing our partner business through technology alliances and solution partner relations. This leadership role requires managing a high-performing team, identifying and recruiting partners, negotiating partnerships, and collaborating cross-functionally. You will also be responsible for pipeline generation, building effective partner engagement models, and fostering executive relationships. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in partnerships/sales at high-growth SaaS companies and 4+ years leading a partnerships team. Requirements
- 10+ years in partnerships/sales roles at high growth SaaS companies, and 4+ years leading a partnerships team
- Proven success in building and scaling strategic partnerships with GSI, Reseller, and Cloud Marketplaces
- Prior experience managing a high performing partnerships team
- Strong existing network of relationships in the software and MACH landscape
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Highly organized and detail oriented, and a bias for data-driven action
- Strong Salesforce.com utilization and process orientation
- Location preference: San Francisco or New York City
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our partner business through Technology Alliances and Solution Partner relations that drive mutual growth and customer success
- Manage and lead team to identify, recruit, and prioritize regional partnerships, negotiate and establish partnerships on resell and referral models
- Manage a high performing team and a portfolio of global strategic partners, and local partners critical to North America regional growth
- Devise regional plans with the sales and marketing leadership team to grow the volume of co-sell, co-market, and deal reciprocation
- Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Product & Engineering, RevOps, Finance on various initiatives to support the partner channel growth
- Build out a repeatable effective partner engagement models to nurture and drive mutual success to our partners and sales organization
- Build executive relations with regional and global partners by leveraging CXO/VP-level relationships and align across stakeholders at partner organizations
- Execute quarterly business reviews, with regular data analysis and insights. Provide leadership visibility into strategic bets, pipeline, and forecasts
