Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
  • MBA or equivalent work experience
  • Significant experience in development and implementation of business strategy, operations, M&A structure and modeling, and managing a portfolio of projects within a complex organization
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Typically 12 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience
  • 7 or more years of management experience

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support Henry Schein Oneโ€™s functional and business unit leaders in performing effective long-term strategic planning, responding to short-term strategic threats and opportunities, and allocating scarce resources to projects with the greatest potential to drive disproportionate business performance
  • Support and lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and recommend organizational, operational, and financial improvement opportunities aligned with Henry Schein One strategic priorities
  • Lead HS Oneโ€™s effort to monitor, manage, communicate, and continually improve key strategic initiatives designed to improve business performance and market position
  • Assist the Chief Operating and Strategic Officer and others in identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships, and make recommendations aligned with Henry Schein One strategic priorities
  • Lead M&A-related activities, such as deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation of transaction terms, and operational integration of acquired businesses
  • Develop internal presentations to communicate proposed strategic initiatives, progress on existing strategic initiatives, updates on M&A targets, etc. to key executive personnel (i.e. CEO, Board of Directors)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline
  • Master's degree or global equivalent a plus
