Summary

The job involves being a Senior Engineering Manager in a fast-growing FinTech company, responsible for building, executing, and communicating the Engineering Vision, managing projects, leading a team of engineers, and collaborating with other teams. The candidate should have 8+ years of software development experience, 3+ years of management experience with at least 2 years at the Senior Manager level, and previous experience in CI/CD, database management, security, and optimizing and scaling products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience as an Individual Contributor
• Grown to a Senior or Staff Level Engineer before transitioning to management
• 3+ years of management experience with at least 2 years at the Senior Manager level
• Managed at least 20 people, including people leaders
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Build, execute, and communicate Engineering Vision
• Help stakeholders define clear requirements for projects to hit company and team metrics
• Manage timelines, identify resources, budget, and ensure delivery on commitments
• Lead the architecture and development, deployment, and launch of complex systems
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering teams to provide technical feasibility, specifications, and estimates for project level work
• Provide solutions, resolve dependencies, and prevent future technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in CI/CD, database management, security, and optimizing and scaling products
