Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior software engineering leadership role
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Services and architecture
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, and .NET technologies
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, WebJobs, and microservices-based applications
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring and logging using Datadog
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development to a team of software engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Manage software engineering projects using Agile methodologies in JIRA and document knowledge in Confluence
• Promote effective communication and collaboration using tools like Slack
• Drive technical excellence across the team by providing architectural guidance and promoting best practices
• Oversee the development and deployment of cloud-native applications using Azure services including Event Hub, WebJobs, and related components
• Ensure application performance monitoring and reliability using Datadog
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals and technical strategies
• Manage engineering deliverables, timelines, and budgets effectively
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks to ensure project success
• Collaborate with the DevOps and SRE teams to enhance deployment processes and system reliability
• Establish and track KPIs to measure engineering team performance and product success
• Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize the product roadmap and technical initiatives
• Manage resource planning and hiring to ensure the team has the necessary skills and capacity
