Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare provider enrollment or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare enrollment processes and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process applications for registered dietitians and other healthcare providers and verify credentials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider information
  • Assess and verify provider eligibility for various insurance programs
  • Liaise with providers, state Medicaid agencies, and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to resolve discrepancies or issues
  • Collect, review, and enter data related to provider applications and credentials
  • Provide detailed information and training to providers regarding enrollment requirements, processes, and policies
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance enrollment processes
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline the enrollment process and ensure efficient data handling and system integration
