Senior Enterprise Sales Executive

Summary

The job description is for a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive role in a pharmaceutical industry publication focusing on drug discovery. The position requires 7-10+ years of experience in the sales industry with enterprise sales experience in a consultative selling environment, preferably in SaaS, Digital Media, or subscription sales business. Excellent communication skills and experience selling into the C-suite and with procurement are required. The role offers a base salary of $125,000 - $150,000 plus commissions, stock options, and excellent benefits including comprehensive health and 401(k).

Requirements

• 7-10+ years within the sales industry and enterprise sales experience in a consultative selling environment. Transferable and preferred industries include: SaaS, Digital Media, or subscription sales business experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience selling into the C-suite and with procurement
• Proven ability to navigate large complex organizations

Responsibilities

• Identifying and managing key growth accounts
• Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry for a subscription-based sales model
• Define the overall approach for specific high-value accounts, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
• Player/coach to sales reps, coordinators, and account managers
• Drive the sales process, partnered with staff scientists who will conduct technical demos and answer scientific questions (a scientific background is not required for this role)
• Represent the organization and product at industry events, and other thought leadership opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus if you’ve worked in the biotech or pharmaceutical sales industry, but a scientific background is not required
