Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience managing B2B events, with a focus on conferences, trade shows, and executive experiences
- Exceptional ability to juggle multiple priorities, stay organized, and manage complex timelines. Aiwyn attends 25+ events each year!
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time (the majority of travel will happen from May-June)
- Strong eye for detail and design to maximize brand exposure. Continue to position Aiwyn as a premium brand in the accounting vertical
- Skilled in negotiating contracts and managing budgets efficiently, acting as key point of contact for our vendors
- Proficiency in event management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable with data and analytics to track ROI, engagement, and event success metrics
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and handles last-minute changes with ease
- Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end event management: Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person events, ranging from 2,000+ person trade shows to owned events such as our annual user conference and multi-city roadshow
- Develop event strategies: Align event goals with broader marketing and business objectives, ensuring each event has clear messaging and outcomes based on the specific audience of the event
- Track and measure success: Report on events, working closely with operations to understand which events created and influenced revenue. Establish a set process to collect feedback and provide insights to optimize future events
- Manage budgets and timelines: Develop detailed budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure events are delivered on time and within scope. Ability to manage multiple events at once
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and leadership to educate each team member on their roles and responsibilities at each event and provide support and answer questions pre-show and on-site
- Ensure scalability: Establish best practices, processes, and templates for the events team as we continue to grow
