You will also partner with other teams, mentor an Events Manager, and stay current with B2B event trends. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of B2B events marketing experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a proven track record of success. Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B events marketing experience, with demonstrated progression in events strategy roles
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events Management, or related field
- Proven success managing large-scale conferences and executive-level events
- Track record of delivering measurable pipeline impact through events programs
- Experience managing and developing direct reports in an events context
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Expertise in event strategy, from concept development to execution and measurement
- Proficiency in event management platforms and marketing analytics tools
- Experience managing six-figure event budgets and vendor relationships
- Experience marketing to enterprise B2C brands and agencies
Responsibilities
- Develop and own Later's comprehensive annual events strategy and roadmap
- Create strategic framework for measuring event ROI and pipeline impact
- Design targeted owned event experiences for enterprise marketing leaders
- Manage events budget, vendor relationships, and agency partnerships
- Execute virtual, hybrid, and in-person event programs at scale
- Create and maintain event measurement frameworks and ROI analysis
- Partner with Demand Generation to create integrated event campaigns
- Work with Product Marketing to showcase platform capabilities effectively
- Support Sales team in creating high-touch executive events and VIP experiences
- Collaborate with Customer Marketing to secure and prepare customer speakers
- Manage and mentor an Events Manager, providing guidance and career development
- Build and maintain relationships with industry event organizers and partners
- Guide cross-functional initiatives between events, sales, and marketing teams
- Define and implement event marketing best practices and playbooks
- Stay current with B2B event trends and technologies
- Conduct regular analysis of competitive event strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification
- Background in social media or influencer marketing space
- Experience with marketing analytics and attribution platforms
- Knowledge of enterprise sales cycles and pipeline development
- Advanced degree in related field
