Summary
Join Del Oro Consulting as a Senior Finance Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives for a high-tech client. This 6-month, fully remote consulting role (with potential for extension) requires strong financial acumen and change management expertise. You will plan and execute complex finance programs, partner with stakeholders, develop program plans, manage risks, and communicate updates to senior leadership. Experience with FP&A or Treasury is a plus. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($70β$80) and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
Requirements
- 7+ years of program or project management experience, preferably within a finance, operations, or enterprise systems environment
- Strong understanding of core financial principles, business operations, and process improvement best practices
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams through change in fast-paced, matrixed environments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira)
- Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
- Strong influencing skills and a collaborative mindsetβable to lead without direct authority
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex finance-related programs focused on systems, processes, and performance improvements
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology to identify, design, and implement scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain program plans, monitor key milestones, and track critical business decisions
- Proactively manage risks, interdependencies, and escalations to ensure successful delivery
- Communicate program updates, risks, and strategic insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Contribute to treasury-related initiatives such as liquidity planning, banking relationships, or cash flow analysis (preferred)
- Support internal go-to-market activities for finance programs, including communication strategies and business readiness planning
- Document business process changes and ensure alignment across evolving program scopes and timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Treasury experience or exposure is a plus
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a bonus
