Summary
Join Human Interest's Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst and contribute to the company's high-growth trajectory. Support the GTM (Go-to-Market) Finance function by developing financial models for revenue forecasting, improving forecast accuracy, and collaborating with various teams. Provide data-driven insights to optimize GTM performance and streamline processes. Prepare materials for board meetings and investors, and create and monitor KPIs. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SaaS metrics, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A at a high-growth software company and/or investment banking
- Excel wizardry - ability to build robust financial models
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High degree of comfort with ambiguity; ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of SaaS business models and experience in analyzing SaaS metrics
- Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate across functions and levels throughout the company, as well as with external partners
Responsibilities
- Develop robust financial models for revenue forecasting and scenario analysis
- Improve forecast accuracy, explaining material variances to expectations, and developing recommendations that enhance understanding of revenue and expense levers
- Collaborate with senior leadership and their teams to provide ad hoc financial analysis and budgetary support. Deliver actionable insights to inform key decisions and align capital allocation with strategic company initiatives
- Provide data-driven insights and financial analysis to optimize the performance of the GTM organization
- Streamline processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions on the βway we do thingsβ to support our next phase of elevated growth and scale
- Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings, investors, and internal reporting
- Create and monitor KPIs to measure performance against key financial objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to drive insights from large datasets - SQL experience a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment is a plus
