Summary

Join our Financial Planning & Analysis team as a Senior Financial Analyst, focusing on modeling, research, and analysis for the Points business unit. You will analyze loyalty market conditions, program innovations, and competitive landscapes. Responsibilities include market and competitor analysis, internal data exploration, maintaining a market sizing file, forecasting for new and existing partners, building financial models for new products, leading FP&A prioritization meetings, performance investigation, risk and opportunity analysis, post-launch analysis, and ad-hoc support. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of FP&A experience (preferably in loyalty programs, e-commerce, or technology), strong analytical and communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a financial planning & analysis (FP&A) role, with a strong preference for experience in a loyalty program, e-commerce, or technology-focused company
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining complex financial models, budgets, and forecasts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively partner with and influence senior leaders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding business drivers and identifying opportunities for improvement

Responsibilities

  • Research market and competitor loyalty programs, performance, and trends to maintain competitiveness
  • Deep-dive into company data to identify trends and opportunities related to points issuance, redemption, and costs
  • Maintain and update the market sizing file to support strategic planning and identify new growth areas
  • Forecast revenue potential for new partners by researching market data and building models
  • Manage monthly forecasting and annual planning for current Platform partners, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are met
  • Work with product and marketing teams to build comprehensive financial models for all new points-related products and features, including projections for revenue, costs, and ROI
  • Facilitate meetings with the Business Development team to align on financial priorities and track contract progress
  • Analyze historical financial data to understand performance drivers and investigate variances from plans
  • Proactively identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities to help the business make informed decisions
  • Conduct post-mortems on new products to measure performance against initial projections
  • Conduct on-demand financial analyses to support strategic decisions, such as evaluating new partnerships or product profitability

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is highly desirable
