This individual contributor role involves revenue analysis, forecasting, and budget preparation, working closely with the FP&A Revenue Supervisor and an Experian Operating Unit. The position requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience with financial systems. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, including month-end close, forecasting, financial reporting, modeling, general ledger, and budget management
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret large datasets, ensure data accuracy, and extract main insights
  • Proven ability to develop financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Experienced in presenting analytical findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, with a strong focus on customer service and responsiveness
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as Oracle, OBIEE, Tableau, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the monthly financial and metric reporting package, creating content as detected through examination of revenue trends and potential revenue drivers, and identifying additional relevant statistical measurements which will be presented to senior management
  • Special projects and financial modelling, as assigned
  • Weekly, monthly revenue forecast and annual budget, partnering with business and corporate FP&A functions
  • Understand revenue recognition processes and rules within financial systems and their impact on enterprise tools used for sales accomplishment
  • Collaborate with the sales finance team to ensure accurate interpretation of revenue by client, ensuring precise sales completion
  • Note: You will do not involve commissions plan design or calculations
  • Support the month-end close and forecast processes
  • Prepare monthly management reports, forecast inputs and participate in calls with departments and partners
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in revenue analysis and reporting processes, promote process improvements, and standardize financial reporting and analysis models
