Summary
Join Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a leading Insurtech company, as a Sr. Financial Analyst. You will be responsible for tracking financial performance, analyzing business performance and market conditions, forecasting financials and KPIs, and assisting senior management in decision-making. This role involves utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and internal systems to drive analyses and collaborate with department heads. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and advanced Excel skills. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or CPA designation, or progress towards designation a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, consulting, or other related fields
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and building financial models
- Proven ability working with large data sets
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Develop predictive financial models to support company decision making and budgeting
- Reconcile, build, and maintain KPI reporting metrics through Power BI / Tableau / Excel
- Work with HR and BU heads to build and maintain incentive compensation design and targets
- Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
- Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
- Cross-collaborate with BU/Department leaders to understand, model, and drive changes
- Communicate reports and models effectively with management
- Assess strategic growth levers and potential operational efficiency opportunities
- Ad hoc reporting as requested
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred prior experience with PowerBI and/or Vena
- Preferred experience working in the insurance industry
