Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within the SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key financial metrics (e.g., ARR, MRR, Churn, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic business partner to key departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Solutions) to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and weekly forecast updates for assigned business units ensuring Adaptive is up to date at all times
- Analyze SaaS-specific financial metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC, etc.) to track performance and provide actionable recommendations
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support revenue and expense forecasting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews, including variance analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial forecasts and business objectives
- Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide leadership with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in preparing Board of Directors presentations, investor reporting, ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and business case development for new initiatives
- Continuously improve financial reporting and forecasting processes to drive operational efficiency
- Stay updated on SaaS industry trends and benchmarks to support best practices and inform financial strategy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with financial reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Benefits
- The starting base pay range for this position is: $103,000 - $117,000 USD per year
- Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives
- Equity is also offered with this role

- This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager
