Summary

Join Avetta's Financial Planning & Analysis team as a Senior Financial Analyst and play a pivotal role in delivering key business metric insights. You will develop dashboards and reports, support forecasting and budgeting, and conduct financial analysis for strategic initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration with various teams and involves presenting complex financial information to leadership. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets (experience with Snowflake a plus)
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field

Responsibilities

  • Advance insights on vital business metrics (e.g., gross and net retention rates, pipeline, churn)
  • Develop and sustain dashboards, reports, and analyses to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify and communicate business trends, gaps, opportunities, root cause drivers, and storyline to leadership
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic long-range planning for cash billings, revenue, and KPIs
  • Provide insightful variance analysis to contribute to Executive Management and Board of Directors reporting
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand and enhance system data flows, reporting processes, and analytics
  • Conduct financial analysis for various strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, such as pricing models, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess risks and potential outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with SaaS business and revenue model a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to various audiences
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment
